FROM THE VAULT

A few photos from days gone by at the club. If you have any other photos of interest please get in contact with the club and we will add them to the collection.

Young Charlie

Peter "Charlie" Eltringham back in the day. I have it on good authority that that is NOT a wig but in fact his real hair.

Rumour has it that Charlie didnt have a top on because he used his whites to make a phsychadelic tye-dye outfit to wear to a Suzie Quattro gig. Those were the days.

The Fast Bowlers Left to Right: Grant Cassidy, Phil Hoey, Dennis Lillee and Ian Lillingston.

This picture was taken at the inaugural "Lunch with a Legend" day.

 World Cup 92-1

Phil Hoey and Holla watch on at the 1992 World Cup game that was played at the Eastern Oval (9th March, 1992) between England and Sri Lanka.

Alan Lamb (who was rested for the game) seems more interested in the form guide.

 World Cup 92-2

Left to Right: Gladstone Small, Chris Lewis, Greg Holloway, Martin Bicknell and Phil Hoey.

Up at the clubrooms fresh from giving the Sri Lankans a pasting, a few of the English boys enjoy the festivities. Chris Lewis put on some nice shorts for the occasion. Bloke in the red shirt is more interested in hooking into his chicken wingding
